Since we do use an automated phone system, we encourage parents to keep their phone numbers current at their student's local school. But there are times that there are technical difficulties, so stay tuned to the stations mentioned above and the school web sites for up to date information.

Before and after school opportunities for recovering credit are now available.

Math Tutoring
PHS math instructor, Barbara Cole, offers tutoring in her room every Wednesday, from 3:00-4:30.
Help is offered in all math classes and ACT prep.
 
Students may come and go as they please. There is no requirement to stay the entire time. You may need help with a couple of problems that takes 10 minutes or you may need the entire 90 minutes. Suit yourself, but, please take advantage of the help.

PHS senior, Dezerae Graves, has entered these drawings into the UTM College Art Day competition. Dezerae won this competition last year.
The exhibit will be held in the UTM Student Life Center, and runs from Monday, January 18, through Friday, January 22.
 

                                  
 
Emily Garrett from the Muscular Dystrophy Association will be at Peabody, Thursday,  Feb. 25, to speak to the Beta Club about the MDA's Shamrock Program.

The Tennessee State Attorney General has issued a warning to schools and parents about a scam involving financial aid applications.
Sites claiming to be FAFSA are asking for fees to process the applications. However, FAFSA charges no fees.
Please make sure you are on the http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ site when working on federal financial aid forms.
